Education/Certification: Special Knowledge/Skills:
• Bachelor's degree from accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate
• Demonstrated competency in agricultural sciences
• Knowledge of agricultural science and technology
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Ability to supervise agricultural field experiences
• Ability to manage budget and personnel
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Job Description

Job Title: Ag Teacher Start Date: January 2027 Reports To: High School Principal Pay Scale: Cisd Teacher Scale + Stipends School: High School Primary Role:
• Assist with directing and managing the Clifton ISD Agricultural Science program with emphasis in Principles of Ag, Plant/Animal Science, and Floral Design.
• Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences and provide an opportunity to participate in extracurricular ag activities.
• Plan activities to achieve district, region, and state recognition and ensure compliance with all local, state, and district requirements and policies.
