Career Academy Success Advocate (Interim) Percent Employed: 100% Months of Employment: 7 Position Type: Temporary - Grant Funded Position Level of Benefits: Full Benefits Pay Range: State Teacher Salary + [10.5% - 18% Local Supplement] Term Limited-Grant Funded Position: Ends 6/12/2026. May be renewed annually if grant funds are awarded for the following school year. * Position Purpose: The Career Academy Advocate will provide specialized support to a cohort of Erwin High School 9-12 grade at-risk students and their families, so that each student in the program will graduate from high school fully prepared for a successful post-secondary experience, including career, military, or continuing education. The Advocate will support each student’s success by providing individualized guidance and support.
