Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial and cleaning duties throughout the school building.
• Operate and maintain custodial and cleaning equipment.
• Assist with basic building and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Move furniture, supplies, equipment, and other materials.
• Perform other related custodial and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Some mechanical knowledge and general familiarity with basic building or maintenance tasks.
• Willingness and ability to learn the proper use of custodial and cleaning equipment.

Position Overview

Lenox Public Schools is seeking a temporary custodian to support the custodial and maintenance needs of Lenox Memorial Middle & High School. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 4-8 weeks.

Hours

• Approximately 30-40 hours per week, scheduled between 5:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Duration

• This is a temporary position, beginning as soon as possible and expected to continue for approximately 4-8 weeks.

Benefits

• Benefits are available for this position.

Compensation

• Per contract $19.55 - $30.79 per hour.
