Job Summary

Mckee Head Boys' or Girls' Elementary Basketball Coach 4-5 Grade

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a practice plan that prepares students for competition.
• Teach fundamental skills of basketball such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense.
• Foster a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for all students to learn and grow.
• Manage the basketball program's budget and coordinate with parents and administrators as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents on their child's development.
• Assist with tournament registration, travel arrangements, and game-day logistics.
• Represent McKee School in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coaching certification preferred.
• Previous experience as an elementary school basketball coach or similar coaching experience highly desired.
• Ability to work with students of varying skill levels and ages.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• First Aid/CPR certification a plus.
