Leverett Elementary School is accepting applications for the following position for the 2026-2027 school year:

Interim School Adjustment Counselor

Certification required 0.5 FTE Support staff in implementing social emotional learning (SEL) curriculum and lead school-wide initiatives in collaboration with the school psychologist under the direction of principal. Provide tiered SEL support to all students. Assist with student SEL data collection, and development and delivery of interventions. Participate in team meetings and provide crisis or de-escalation support to students. Support student transitions and accommodations to be successful in the school setting. Consult, collaborate and support staff and parents regarding community resources. Collaborate with internal staff and external resources and make referrals as needed. Coordinate parent programs and supports within the school setting. Assist students and caregivers with regular attendance and engagement with the school. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned by principal.
