Job Summary

This is an opportunity to join our team as a Lead Equipment Operator. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various equipment, including heavy machinery, power tools, and other machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery, power tools, and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Provide guidance and training to junior operators as needed
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair
• Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management
• Contribute to the overall success of the team through effective communication and teamwork

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy machinery, power tools, and other equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

• The work environment is a manufacturing facility with heavy machinery and equipment
• The temperature range is typically between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit, with occasional extreme temperatures
• The noise level can be loud, with occasional exposure to hazardous materials
• Reports directly to the Supervisory Operations Manager
• Supervises junior operators as needed
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Schedules may vary depending on production needs
• $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience
• A background check is required for this position
• Security clearance is not required but highly recommended
