Job Title - Temporary- Assistant Food Service Director - --- - --- - Purpose Statement - Provide assistance in the administration of our child nutrition program in accordance with district, local, state & federal policies and regulations, to ensure nutrition and financial integrity of the program. - Job Requirements & Qualifications - * Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree in related field preferred, minimum of 3 years experience in similar position. - * Knowledge/experience in how to use and/or file: - + Virtual Gateway - + Direct Certification Process - + Verification Process - + AccuClaim Checks and Report - + Processing Free & Reduced Lunch Applications - + Quarterly Profit & Loss Reports to DSE, End of Year Report to DSE - + Process on the use of Commodity Food & Dod Fresh. - * Must be familiar with regulations from USDA & MA DSE for School Food Service Operations. - + How to place orders for food, produce, supplies, do returns & apply for credits using vendors that have won bids. - + Process bank deposits.
