Responsibilities

• Plan and lead skill-appropriate practices and game strategies
• Supervise players during all practices, games, and travel
• Promote team collaboration, sportsmanship, and student growth
• Coordinate with athletic leadership, school staff, and families
• Ensure adherence to school and league policies for eligibility, conduct, and safety

Qualifications

• Prior experience coaching or playing basketball (school or club level) preferred
• Knowledge of basketball rules, technique, and skill progression
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to youth development and student-athlete well-being
• Must meet all PA Department of Education clearance requirements

Position Summary

Lehigh Valley Academy is seeking experienced and enthusiastic coaches to join our athletics department for the 2026–2027 winter basketball season.
