Key Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental and advanced springboard diving techniques safely.
• Plan and run daily practices and manage team lineups for meets.
• Ensure athlete safety during all pool training and competitions.
• Encourage strong character, academic focus, and team sportsmanship.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and athletic staff.

Qualifications

• Previous diving experience (coaching or competitive diving preferred).
• Active CPR/AED, First Aid, and Water Safety/Lifeguard certifications (or ability to get certified before the season).
• Knowledge of high school diving rules and scoring.
