Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as the webmaster for our school's website. As a webmaster, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our online presence and ensuring that all digital content is up-to-date and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive web strategy to enhance the school's online presence
• Design, build, and maintain the school's website, including updates to existing pages and creation of new ones
• Ensure all digital content is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and students to gather information and create engaging content for the website
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems related to website functionality
• Monitor website analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions to improve online engagement
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in web design, development, or a related field
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) principles and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, communications, marketing)
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile-friendly websites
• Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices for creating inclusive digital content
• Certification in web development or design
