Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (3 days/week) - --- - Job Description: Certified COTA Part-time - Somerville, MA Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Location: Somerville, MA Schedule: 3 days/week Start Date: ASAP Assignment: Through the end of School Year 2026-27 - Position Overview: - We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school-based setting in Somerville, MA. This is a part-time opportunity, working 3 days per week, with the assignment continuing through the end of the 2026-27 School Year. - Responsibilities: - * Provide occupational therapy support and interventions under the direction of an occupational therapist. - * Implement individualized therapy activities based on student needs and treatment plans. - * Support students in developing functional, motor, sensory, and daily living skills. - * Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student progress. - * Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate student progress as required. - Qualifications: - * Valid Massachusetts COTA certification/license required. - * Experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred. - * Strong communication and collaboration skills. - * Ability to commit to 3 days per week through the end of SY 2026-27. - Why Consider This Opportunity?: - * Immediate start opportunity - * Consistent 3-day-per-week schedule - * Long-term assignment through the 2026-27 School Year - * Supportive school-based environment
