Job Title: Dietitian > > Job Description: > The dietitian is responsible for supporting the mission of WHSCDA by carrying out assigned duties with professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to high-quality services. This position contributes to the overall success of the program through collaboration, adherence to regulations, and a shared responsibility for supervision and safety. Provide nutritional support and education to Head Start families and staff. Manage food service department and food service staff. > > Qualifications: > - Registered Dietitian > - B.S. degree in Food and Nutrition/Dietetics, or > Equivalent hours in Food and Nutrition coursework plus 2 years’ experience in community nutrition services to preschool children > - Must be food safety certified > - Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development and CACFP. > - Must be first aid and CPR certified. > - Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle. > - Ability to understand and follow regulations, policies, and procedures. > - Strong communication and organizational skills. > - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
