About the Employer

Requirements

• Considerable janitorial and grounds maintenance experience; experience as a semi-skilled handyman preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment and ability to use them economically and efficiently; ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions; and ability to get along well with others.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/GED or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
• Ability to plan and supervise the work of others; experience as head custodian or other leadership role in a cleaning/housekeeping operation preferred
• Basic computer skills required

Pay Rate

• Custodian salary scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

Assignment

• Full time / 12 months / 245 days

Effective Date

• This position is effective with the 2026-2027 school year
