Job Description

Special education paraprofessionals assist students in the classroom to allow students to be successful learners in all aspects of the day. Paras may work with students 1:1, in small groups, or assisting the classroom teacher. Paras assist with academic, behavior and health matters.

Employment Terms

Part-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 1:15 pm

Compensation

The pay range is under the Dover Paraeducators' Association CBA.

Starting pay rates are as follows:
* $16.73 per hour (Grade 2, Step 1) with no experience
* $19.97 per hour (Grade 3, Step 1) for those holding a Para II certification
