Job Title: Unified Sports Bowling Coach - Responsibilities: - * Assist with planning, organizing, and conducting regular practice sessions. - * Develop and implement game strategies and tactics. - * Teach fundamental skills, techniques, and sports rules to student-athletes. - * Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and school-sponsored trips. - * Promote discipline, responsibility, and good sportsmanship among players. - * Ensure compliance with school, district, and state athletic regulations. - * Assist with maintenance of team equipment and uniforms. - * Assist with scheduling and facility use. - * Maintain open communication with parents and guardians. - * Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes on personal development and college opportunities. - * Enforce all school policies and codes of conduct. - * Perform other job-related duties as assigned. - Requirements: - * Minimum qualifications: - + Valid Florida teaching certificate or valid Department of Education athletic coaching certificate. - + Valid FHSAA certification. - + Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. - * Preferred qualifications: - + Coaching experience in the assigned or a closely related sport. - + Experience mentoring youth and fostering a positive team culture. - + Familiarity with academic eligibility requirements for student-athletes. - + Knowledge, skills, and abilities: - + Knowledge of the sport's rules, techniques, and safety practices. - + Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. - + Ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and community partners. - + Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during school breaks as needed. - Additional Information:** - * Revised: 03/23/2026 - * Adoption: 10/07/2025
