The job of athletic intern is done for the purpose/s of assisting in the athletic program for the assigned sport, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations; providing supervision of students during all aspects of the program; using sound instructional techniques in overseeing program activities and serving as a positive role model to student athletes.

Purpose Statement

The Springfield, Missouri Public School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Athletic Intern.

Education

High school diploma or GED, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Other education requirements are dependent upon position.

Background clearance, the results of which must be satisfactory to the district, required.
