About the Employer

Minimum Qualifications

Prior coaching experience, valid Florida teaching certificate or valid Department of Education Athletic Coaching Certificate, and a valid FHSAA Certification are required. A valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is also necessary. Valid Florida driver's license is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Coaching experience in the assigned sport or a closely related sport is preferred. Experience mentoring youth and fostering a positive team culture, familiarity with academic eligibility requirements for student-athletes, and knowledge of the sport's rules, techniques, and safety practices are also desirable.

• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and community partners
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during school breaks as needed
